Congratulations to the Merrill Lynch Team, captained by Rowen Pestana, who won the 2008 City Golf Championships. The two day finals were played at the magnificent Carton House in Ireland over two equally tough and beautiful courses - the Montgomerie and the O'Meara. Ashurst, captained by Stuart Walker took second place with Mirabelle Partners captained by Ashwani Mathur in third place. Anheuser Busch, representing Michelob, won the Sponsors Prize. The Longest Drive on Day 1 went to Claire Norman of Ashurst, beating all of the men. Special mention goes to Pat Cunningham in the Bird and Bird team who walked away with both Nearest the Pin on Day 1 and Longest Drive on Day 2, as well as coming 4th in the team event.
